June's family held a reunion in Charleston, and we were there. Several of her step-siblings live in Hilton Head, a short drive away. They rented a beach home for the week, and we made several day trips into the city and visited historic locations nearby.
June 23 - Arrived and situating
24 - Downtown Charleston.
25 - Steve Rick and I played golf somewhere. The others took a horse and buggy tour in downtown Charleston. Then we all visited an open air market.
26 - Boon Hall Plantation Tour
27 - June and I visited Fort Moultrie, then had lunch at Edgar Poe's place. We all took a ferry to Fort Sumter and then visited a restaurant.
28 - Beach day. Restaurant for dinner.
29 - Breakfast on the way out to Asheville.
