On our way to Alaska, we decided to spend a two full days exploring Seattle. What a cool city!
We got in late on 5/28. We explored 5/29 and 30. We boarded the train to Vancouver on 5/31
We discovered the CityPass card, which gets admission to a number of activities.
We walked and used public transportation/Uber to get around.

The downtown is really divided into two distinct areas:
1. Our VRBO home.
2. The Space needle area
3. Downtown
Day 1 - The Space Needle area - We walked to breakfast in the Pike Market area. We then boarded the monorail in the Westlake Station to the Space Needle. We first visited Chihuly Garden, which was eye-popping! Then we went up the Space Needle which was recently remodeled with glass enclosure and no revolving restaurant. The floor still revolves though with some glass flooring. We then had lunch and toured the Museum of Pop Culture (Mopop).
Day 2 - Pikes Place Market area - Underground Tour
(VERY fun), The Aquarium, and Bay Cruise. Geoff and I then rode "Lime
Bikes" back to the room in commute traffic to fetch a bottle of wine for
dinner. What a BLAST!
