We visited Jamie, Sean, and Kailey after spending two weeks in Tahoe with June and Brandon's family. Check it out.

Almost every evening, June and I would ride bikes around the same loop in the neighborhood with Kailey riding her scooter. See video

Also, almost everyday, Kailey would put her 3 or 4 Mini Mouse puzzles together. She definitely likes routine.

Mon Aug 17 - Hiked somewhere along the Deschutes River. I replaced a couple of worn electrical outlets.

Tues Aug 18 - Hiked at Shevlin Park with Sean. Later, we started tearing up the bathroom floor, something that Jamie had wanted to replace for a long time. Not long into it, we realized that there was a layer of MDF particle board under the toilet which was in very bad shape. There was no way we could lay good tile flooring on top of it. So we tore it out and replaced it with plywood. Laying the tile flooring was a bitch! We finished on the 21st.

Wed Aug 19 - Worked on the bathroom floor.

Thurs Aug 20 - Kayaked on Sparks Lake. I rode my mountain bike on a trail around the lake, which was super shallow. We had lunch on a beach, then headed back.

Fri Aug 21 - Kayaking the previous day would have been fun, but we wanted a lake that had more water. Jamie suggested Elk Lake. There were a lot of people, so we walked around to the left and found a nice, semi-private beach area. Good fun.

Sat Aug 22 - Hiked to another park -  climbed up platform. Kailey tried to ride her bike. This may have been the day that we (Sean) climbed under the house to route the copper tubing from the sink to the refrigerator for the ice maker and cold filtered water spigot.

Sun Aug 23 - Kayaked on Elk Lake again, but we walked to the opposite side of lake

Monday Aug 24 - June and I hiked along the Deschutes to Benham Falls.

Tues Aug 25 - Drove home.
