This was my first real outing with a camera.

3. Mourning Dove

4. American Kestrel

7. White-crowned Sparrow

8. White-crowned Sparrow

9. Golden-crowned Sparrow

David: "The crown stripes aren't so well defined as on the white-crowned sparrow, and there's a tinge of yellow on the forehead.
It's a more obvious characteristic if you've seen males in their breeding plumage.
They're also one of the larger sparrows we get that aren't towhees."

10. Western Bluebird

11. White-tailed Kite

12. White-tailed Kite

13. Norther Flicker

14. Norther Flicker

15. Brewer's Blackbird

16. California Tohee

David: "Their actions and noises are more distinctive than any of the markings,
though the rusty color under the tail and bill shape together eliminate other possibilities around here."
