At 13 yrs old, in 7th grade, Brett returned in March, 2007 for another month of intense wrestling with his school. They have about two weeks of training, then two weeks of after-school meets with other schools, and then tournaments on the weekend.
Brett weighed in at 85 lbs. Fortunately, they wrestled against other kids in the same weight class. This was his second year, so he had some experience under his belt. He did well in his final season, although he lost in twice in tournaments with schools outside this league.
The following pictures were from the league championship finals on March 17. He went into the tournament as the #1 seed in his weight class. He had about 5 matches that day.
