On our drive to Boston, we drove through Connecticut and Rhode Island.
We toured the USS Nautilus, a WW2 Submarine and the world's first nuclear-powered vessel, just outside of New London, Connecticut. No pictures were taken but several minutes are on the Boston video.
Like New York, we didn't actually stay in the city, but in the nearby suburb of Revere. Every day we walked to the train station and took a 30-minute train into Boston. Not far from the hotel we stayed at was the NECCO (New England Confectionery COmpany) wafer factory where it has been since 1847.
We did a LOT of walking in Boston. The freedom trail is about 2 miles long in each direction. We walked pretty much the whole thing. Most of it is on video.
We also joined a boat tour of Boston Harbor and walked through Boston Commons Park. Both are on the video.

This is the traditional spot of the tea party. But there is NOTHING but this little shack now. I wonder what that means, Chris? |

But we did hit the Cheers bar for drinks. |

Norm was there, so he posed with Linz and Brett. |

We went to Fenway to take a tour. The only available time for a tour was right before a game. So we jumped in a cab and squeezed it in. |

Of course, Lindsey took our picture on top of the Green Monster, the left field wall. (See next picture). |

The oldest park in the majors, so we were told. Coincidentally (wink), we all had to use the restroom at the end of the tour. And when we came out, the tour had ended. And there we were, in the park almost alone, just in time for batting practice which, for some reason, is not open to the public! Lucky us! |

We hung out quietly by the Red Sox dugout. |
