Lake Tahoe - Nov. '09

It was June, the Harringtons, and myself, and it was cold!

One morning I was standing by the back window and a bear walked by. We all charged outside to get a better look. We left the door open, just in case we decided to go back in quickly. It didn't seem to mind us.

See how much they miss me when I am not there.

Actually, I was testing the lighting. The one WITH me has NO flash, but only natural lighting.

Hike at Emerald Bay

A river boat taking a tour of Emerald Bay...in November.

Rocky the Flying Squirrel

Sequoia Redwood growing over a rock.

Us out on the point of Emerald Bay. The camera is sitting on the ground, or is it standing on the ground, or is it laying on the ground.

Eating a quick snack in the forest.

I think I may have caught Bruce by surprise.

Hike at Grover Hot Springs

The Hot Springs area, looking back from just starting a hike up the canyon.

A little tree growing out of a rock - strange.

After a couple hours on the trail in VERY cold (35ish) weather, a plunge in the hot springs. We were NOT alone.

We took over the south east corner of the pool.

A rare sighting...

Bruce wearing long pants!
