Gary and I arrived on Sunday July 6. We missed fireworks here because we went to Gus's 50th birthday party in the city.
Great birthday! Played tennis in the am, swam, put the boat in and sailed a few hours. Went to Sunnyside for MaiTai and dinner.Got lots done this week. Put the rails back on, purged fridges, bought new rug, planted wild flowers, trimmed branches, collected pine debris.
Sat. 12th - Hiked Mt. Talac. Hard 7 hr. hike. Beautiful views. Ran out of water on the way down. See below.
Sun. 13th - Dan came up. We went to the pool and sailed.
Mon. 14th - We went to Sunnyside for his birthday. Had a drink for Brett.

Mt. Tallac Hike

Sometime in 2013 I started to think this would be a good hike for June and I. Challenging, but not to crazy. So we decided to try it on a Saturday during our July 2014 visit. It was an all-day affair.
