July 27 - Thursday. June and I arrived. Lots of downed trees. Went to Spoons
July 28 - Friday. Rounded up someone to deal with the logs.
July 29 - June and I hiked to the fairy stump. Kids showed up. Took a neighborhood walk. To the pool and baby beach. Hiked to the train house. This was the daily routine.
July 30 - Sunday. Commons beach concert. Ate at Za's Italian afterward.
July 31 - Hike in the neighborhood. June, Alicia and girls played mini golf in Kings Beach. Garrett and I had a late Tee time at Old Greenwood. Pretty good deal - not the best.
August 1 - Tues. Blew up the raft and hit the beach. The dumpster and Perry show up to chop up the rounds and logs. Hiked with the girls to the stump.
August 2 - Garrett and Alicia take the girls fishing at a Trout Farm. $150 later, we had a nice golden trout dinner. June and I hiked at Barker Pass. Later that day as we're at the pool, Ryan and crew show up to cut down and remove 2 trees, along with trees in Matthew's yard.
August 3 - On the morning beach ritual, Alicia works up nerve to swim to the platform. Dumpster was taken.
August 4 - All go to Kings Beach mini golf. Mexican food for lunch. Garrett and I go to Grays Crossing Golf course. The girls treat June for birthday lunch and drinks at Sunnyside.
August 5 - The kids leave in the morning after breakfast at Firesign. June and I hike up to Quail through Homewood, then over to Sunrise bench. Afterward we head to the beach but it was too crowded to park, so we headed home and spotted a bear on Lodge being shooed away from a residential party.
August 6 - Sunday. We started on laundry, wood piles, then hiked from Grant street to the Gnome village. We had dinner at Chambers Landing. June had the pork chop with red potatoes mashed. I had the Fish and Chips. Very Good!
August 7 - Monday. Headed home. Jamie and Kailey come to town that evening. We didn't clean because June hired Becky Paulsen to clean. Nice!
