European Tour September 2013

On September 12, June and myself drove to SFO and got on a plane headed for London. In Paris, a week later, we planned to meet up with the Harringtons with whom we had been planning this trip for 6 months. None of us had ever been to Europe.

Together we took about 5000 pics. This site is a collection of all of our best 341 pictures.

A quick note about our packing/clothing choices...

I took the light route: 10 kgs (22 lbs) in a single backpack . Why you ask? Because I am cheap.  We took three short flights once we got there: London to Dublin, Cork to Paris, and Paris to Venice. The seats were relatively cheap; but checking a bag was about the same cost as a seat. So I had a carry-on size bag.

June packed pretty light for her, but checked her bag each time. However,  she had enough clothing that I never noticed her wearing 'worn' clothes.  I don't think she could say the same about me.
